The Political Tide: Positive Change for Sportsmen
Oregon_State_Capitol_1

The Oregon Outdoor Council (OOC) is still a relatively young organization (4 years old). As a result, we often receive questions by email or on Facebook that ask what is OOC, why do you need to exist. The answer is rather simple, sportsmen and women are tired of losing the political battle in Oregon. The OOC has begun to change the tide for sportsmen and women (significantly!), no longer are we simply waiting for the other side to attack our lifestyle and then try to play defense. We are actively engaged in the political process, being proactive, and exposing the lies and half truths pushed by anti-hunting environmental groups in Oregon.

With the 2015 Oregon legislative session halfway over we wanted to provide a glimpse into how active the OOC is politically to PROTECT & RESTORE your outdoor lifestyle. Below is a sample of the bills the OOC is actively working this week (busy week!). We hope that you appreciate and support this effort. If so, please consider joining for only $25.
