The Oregon Outdoor Council (OOC), Oregon’s only 100% political advocacy organization for the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, is proud to welcome a new addition to the team – Sereena Thompson, Co-Owner of Nature’s Paint (an all-natural camouflage facepaint).
As OOC grows so does the need for leaders in key areas of the state to extend our public outreach, education, and fundraising efforts. Mrs. Thompson joins the Oregon Outdoor Council as a banquet chair for Central Oregon.
Mrs. Thompson is a native Oregonian, a lifelong hunter, and part of the fastest growing sector of our community – female hunters.
“Growing up on a ranch in Southern Oregon I have always been an outdoorswoman. I grew up hunting with my mom and dad even before I could legally hunt myself. At that young age they taught me that hunting is not just a hobby, it’s a call to something greater – a way of life and a big part of who I am today,” says Thompson.
Thompson continues, “I love our lifestyle and introducing new people to it. I am excited to join the Oregon Outdoor Council’s leadership team where I will be able to continue inspiring other hunters and help aide in promoting and protecting our lifestyle for generations to come.”
