Wallowa-Whitman Forest supervisor Schwalbach announced today that she was withdrawing the Travel Management Plan (TMP) that has caused so much controversy over the past month. This is great news, but know that the Forest Service still plans to shut the public out of the forest. This is an opportunity to fight for continued access to OUR public land. The Forest Service has stated that they consider the entire forest CLOSED to us unless they mark it as open. We need to stand together and fight for local control and return the management of our forest to Oregon and our Counties. Please join the Oregon Outdoor Council today for only $10 and join the fight!
